With a lifelong interest in evocative vocalists and accomplished composers, Stephen developed his craft through his association with many singers and musicians at countless jam sessions, vocal showcases, and performances. In addition, Stephen has also studied privately and for several years operated an Inn and Carbaret/ Jazz room on the Deleware River in Pennsylvania, where he performed regularly and honed his consumate skills. Stephen has received high praise for his ability to engage an audience with his heartfelt performances, comprehensive knowledge of music and a warm and spontaneous manner.

He has appeared in many New England Venues including: Scullers, The Center for the Arts in Natick, and The Acton Jazz Cafe.
